WIN AN AWARD
To reciprocate all the attention I got from other sites that gave me awards, here's a place for you to apply to win a website award for your own site. Good luck!
Requirements | Criteria | Application form | Old Awards | Winners
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Your site must be kid-safe (no pornography, hate sites)
2) Your site must be in English (I have to be able to understand it...)
3) Your page must be complete. Do not submit a site in progress or a site in the middle of being updated. If I see "this part of the website is still under construction" anywhere, your site will not qualify.
4) Please only submit one webpage once a month if you have multiple websites.
5) No business websites, please.
6) Does your site sound like it qualifies? Before you continue, please sign my guestbook and/or fill in my feedback form. It's only fair that I get some feedback if I'm supposed to give you some feedback. The links will open in a new window so that it will not disrupt your application process.

CRITERIA:
These criteria will determine which award you win. Each of the three criteria will be rated on a scale from 1-5. A 20 will get you a special award; a 19-17 will win you a gold award; a 16-13 will win you a silver award; a 12-9 will win you a bronze award; anything lower will not qualify for anything. You may also get bonus points if there's something especially impressive about your webpage.
1) Content: does your page have a purpose to it, or is it just a list of links? Variety also helps in this area. Try to make sure your content is easy to access and navigate, too. If I have to press back 50 times to get back to your home page, there is a problem.
2) Professionalism: does your page look like it's been reviewed before you uploaded it? Broken links, broken images, spelling errors, grammatical mistakes, etc. will work against you.
3) Aesthetic appeal: does your page look "nice"? Do you make good use of colors, images, technology without overloading your viewer?
4) Creativity: is your page original, or does it look like you picked ideas off of everyone else?
